Liberals, Get Conflicted

Ralph Nader and some other dude have put out a press release pleading for Terry Schaivo's life. Liberals: Do you believe us now? Does Bill Clinton have to come back from the dead and give you a message about this? This isn't about the "rights of the spouse" or "state's rights", it's about life and death of someone who can breathe and speak english words. Nader has spoken. Dare you follow?

This post makes me seem like I hate Liberals, which I don't. I just don't like killing. As this whole Schaivo thing keeps going on and on, I have been sucked into her plight. I still don't think that this is some sort of slippery slope or anything, but the tube should be put back in.

    To respond as a "Liberal" and mock the "Conservative Republicans" for a second...

    Republicans hate killing in the form of abortion, assisted suicide, or "Terry Schiavo-ing", unless it's there tax dollar paying the bill. However, they don't mind war all that much. Many call for it whenever possible.


    Just having a little fun, no harm no foul.

    I'm going to have to agree with, Paul. Not in the Republicans are war-lovers sense, but in the Republicans are hypocrites sense. They want to restrict government control unless it suits their purpose. I know this whole thing is about life and death, and it's really important, and honestly I'm not sure where I'm at on the whole thing. But I can't get my mind off the fact that the government can get all up in people's business like this.

    Not to kick myself in the butt, but come on... Not that "ALL" Republicans are war lovers, but there are some who do call for it whenever they can... We all know plenty of red-neck a**hole frat boys that are like "We gonna go get 'em. I love 'merica. No Habib O'Sadam Laden is gonna take 'merica from me. Let's go get 'em." Again, more with the starting of crap.

    Hey, hawking war is sometimes a good strategy for Republicans in hick districts, or as I call them, "Hickstricts".

    I just made that word up.

    And I'm not sure how killing Terry Schaivo protects our national interests, if you're comparing that to war. Of course, you could argue that this war we're in doesn't help. That's matter of debate.
